The frame is a welded structure of iron pipes and plates. It is based upon that of construction machinery.

Keeping enough strength and rigidity to endure mode changing and positional shifting of movable parts, we proceeded to reduce ARCHAX's weight to the furthest extent possible, achieving the low total weight of 3.5 tons.

We built the frame based upon the concept design to realize a "cool" looking robot without losing its functionality.

The finished build is not far from the appearance of the concept design, even though the reality of structural form was taken into account.
